Scimitar-Horned Oryx have thrived at the ranch since being introduced in 2009.  They are a very social animal that often travels in herds of 50 or more and will seperate from the herd while giving berth.  While both sexes have horns, males tend to have more mass, while females tend to be longer.  It is not unusual to see a number of male and females grazing the pastures in excess of 40" in length.
